Matches this month rotate between Victoria Park in Ballarat East and the Alfredton Oval complex off Sturt Street. The Ballarat Regional Soccer Association runs the league while the separate Kickstart Ballarat program supplies gear and coaching for juniors at Lake Wendouree.

Both organisations trace their current membership surge to a 2023 council grant that capped junior fees at 120 dollars per season. Senior teams pay 185 dollars, still below metropolitan averages.

Numbers track steady local growth

Association records show 2,450 registered players across all grades this winter, an increase of 650 from the 2024 season. The largest rise appears in the over-35 division, where three new teams formed after a recruitment drive along Howitt Street.

Fixtures resume on 18 July with Wendouree Wanderers hosting Sebastopol at Victoria Park. New players can register through the association office on Mair Street before the next round or attend open training sessions listed on the Kickstart Ballarat website.
